En un emocionante paso hacia una Am\u00e9rica Latina m\u00e1s sostenible, la iniciativa nacional de recuperaci\u00f3n de envases de Uruguay, Plan Vale<\/strong>, el viernes 21 de febrero de 2025, ha acordado los t\u00e9rminos con el consorcio integrado por las empresas CIEMSA<\/strong>, CSI<\/strong> y Reverse Logistics Group (RLG)<\/strong> para implementar el primer Sistema de Dep\u00f3sito Devoluci\u00f3n y Reembolso (SDDR)<\/strong><\/a> del pa\u00eds para envases de bebidas de un solo uso. Este proyecto pionero posiciona a Uruguay como el primer pa\u00eds latinoamericano en adoptar un sistema de este tipo, sentando un precedente para el reciclaje eficiente y la gesti\u00f3n de residuos en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>

Bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Plan Vale, al consorcio se le ha encomendado el dise\u00f1o, la implementaci\u00f3n y la operaci\u00f3n del sistema. El programa que est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para incentivar la devoluci\u00f3n de materiales reciclables, abarcar\u00e1 una amplia gama de tipos de envases, incluidos los pl\u00e1sticos PET, latas de aluminio, botellas de vidrio y empaques multi-laminado de larga vida (MLV)<\/strong>. Se espera que la inclusi\u00f3n de estos materiales ampl\u00ede significativamente el impacto ambiental del programa.<\/p>

Para facilitar este ambicioso esfuerzo, RLG se ha asociado con CIEMSA y CSI, dos firmas locales de larga trayectoria y gran experticia, para apoyar las operaciones en Uruguay<\/strong>, incluida la recolecci\u00f3n de materiales, el transporte, as\u00ed como la construcci\u00f3n y operaci\u00f3n de centros de conteo y clasificaci\u00f3n. Esta colaboraci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 la transferencia de la amplia experiencia global de RLG en SDDR que servir\u00e1 para garantizar la eficiencia y fiabilidad del sistema.<\/p>

RLG actuar\u00e1 como el principal proveedor de tecnolog\u00eda del proyecto. Se implementar\u00e1 una soluci\u00f3n inform\u00e1tica de SDDR de extremo a extremo que integra a todas las partes interesadas del sistema y garantiza la gesti\u00f3n segura de los datos y los flujos financieros. Adem\u00e1s, la soluci\u00f3n de gesti\u00f3n de operaciones y log\u00edstica de RLG ayudar\u00e1 al consorcio a optimizar las rutas de recolecci\u00f3n y hacer un seguimiento de los materiales desde la recolecci\u00f3n hasta su destino final de procesamiento.<\/p>

La apertura de una entidad local por parte de RLG para gestionar el proyecto subraya el compromiso de la empresa con el \u00e9xito del SDDR en Uruguay.<\/strong> Se espera que el equipo local, que ya est\u00e1 en marcha, crezca a medida que avance el proyecto, afianzando a\u00fan m\u00e1s la experiencia de RLG en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>

La participaci\u00f3n de RLG en el SDDR de Uruguay representa un testimonio del liderazgo de la empresa en soluciones log\u00edsticas ambientales. Con un importante historial de implementaciones de SDDR en todo el mundo, RLG aporta mejores pr\u00e1cticas y tecnolog\u00eda de vanguardia para apoyar a Uruguay en lograr sus objetivos ambientales.<\/p>

Plan Vale<\/strong><\/a> es un plan nacional aprobado por el Ministerio de Ambiente en 2022 para recolectar y valorizar envases para cumplir con la normativa nacional y las metas de recuperaci\u00f3n establecidas por el Ministerio de Ambiente en la Resoluci\u00f3n <\/span>N\u00b0<\/span> 271\/2021 y su modificaci\u00f3n en la Resoluci\u00f3n <\/span>N\u00b0<\/span> 1391\/024.
